Hex 36 - Valley of the Tombs
The Cloud Peaks foothills are barren here, as if forsaken by nature. Locals know not to dare coming here, for it hosts many many dwarven tombs from Durlag’s time.
Biome: Barren Mountains. Gravel patches. Jagged cliffs. Howling wind. Distant raven. Broken landscape.

Encounter Rules
Generate an encounter the first time the party goes to one of this hex’s features and every 12 hours. Encounters can happen on the way to the location or at the destination. If an encounter would happen while the party rests, good survival skills while setting up camp make the encounter happen after the full rest is completed. Search the Baldur’s Gate Wiki for information on named NPC. Do not hesitate to replace any named NPC by one the players have already met from time to time! It makes for a better story.
Feature A - Open Tombs
The door of three troglodytic tombs were burst open by unscrupulous graverobbers, or worse.
Feature B - Pillaged Tomb.
This tomb is more hidden and seems to have been untouched until very recently. In fact you can hear the panicked voice of Hentold coming from inside as he attempts to flee with his loot.
Feature C - Mulahey’s Tunnel
This tomb has long been looted. However, multiple foot tracks in the dust reveal a secret passage that leads deeper underground. It is a long journey, but if you follow it, you will arrive into a cave below Nashkel Mines.
